Dancing Bear Tipi
Choosing to stay in Dancing Bear Tipi, an authentic Native American Crow Tipi is sure to be one of the most unique and special experiences of your life! This is Glamping at it’s best. Our guests will have everything they need and more for an unforgettable glamping experience. It is no ordinary tipi . . . it comes complete with queen size bed, comfortable cotton sheets, warm comfy quilts, and a goose down comforter in a beautiful duvet on a pillow top mattress. There is a wrought iron candlelight chandelier that hangs above the bed for a wonderful romantic touch. A beautiful place to spend your honeymoon, anniversary, birthday or any special day between the two of you.
This beautifully decorated Tipi sits on a wooden deck in a beautiful location among the ponderosa pine, douglas fir and white pine trees. Glampers are welcome to explore the forest and take a hike on the adjoining Lincoln National Forest. The wide-open spaces and lack of light pollution outside the tipi make this an ideal location for stargazing. The smoke flaps can be opened at night for a wonderful view of the stars while lying in bed. There is room inside the tipi for two cots with sleeping bags so up to four guests can stay. Children are welcome and will have an awesome time staying in a real tipi.
There is a small table and two chairs, a barn wood chest that holds dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, drinking glasses, etc. with a propane coffee maker that brews hot coffee or hot water for tea sits on top. A blanket chest sits at the end of the bed with extra blankets, coverlets for use outside by the fire, games, books , first aid kit and a map of the area. Towels, wash cloths and hand towels are provided also. Lanterns and flashlights are provided for your use at night. We do not allow smoking in our tipi.
Outside a propane grill is provided for your cooking needs next to a picnic table. A fire pit sits right outside your tipi with several camp chairs and wood stumps to sit on while making s’mores and star gazing. We have nice warm snuggly throws for use by the fire on chilly nights.
A private toilet just for your tipi is located only steps away. The water from the sink is cool clear well water from our house system, great if you want to make coffee or fill water bottles. Close by is a spacious outdoor shower with hot water and dressing room. There is a sink for hand or dish washing next to the shower.
We charge a $45 cleaning fee and an additional $25 fee for up to 2 pets.
