Casa Montaña Treehouse has breathtaking views surrounded by natural beauty and panoramic backdrops! Cozy and romantic this unique treehouse is ideal for two guests to enjoy a romantic getaway. You’ll enjoy the view from the large reclaimed windows or be able to step out the glass front door onto the deck and enjoy the view. Waking up to the special sounds of nature, birds singing, deer and elk moving through the forest is where nature and luxury come together in tranquil harmony.

Boasting large windows the open plan living/kitchen area is flooded with natural light. Casa Montaña is a true Labor of Love. We designed and built Casa Montaña with the desire to help people get back to nature and enjoy the simple things in life. I have wanted to build a treehouse for several years and wanted it to be an unique experience for our guests and not just a place to stay. We spent several years collecting doors, windows, old tin and lots of extras to build the treehouse. One of the best parts was that we bought a sawmill and milled our own lumber from our land. The floor was fun – I laid each board out so that the most beautiful pieces of each board show and after being varnished, it is gorgeous. We want everything to be comfortable and inviting. We want you to come, stay with us and have a vacation as stress-free as possible by providing a turn-key rental with everyday amenities.

The plush queen size romantic canopy bed is appointed with soft cotton sheets, comfy quilts and a duvet with a down comforter to make sure you get a great night's sleep.

If you would like to prepare food in the treehouse - in the kitchenette is a vintage style mini refrigerator/freezer, microwave, single burner cooktop, and Keurig coffee maker. We provide a few k-cup pods to get you started. Please bring your favorite for the remainder of your stay. There are dishes, glasses, silverware, serving bowls, utensils, knives, cutting board and pots and pans. We also have a variety of spices and basic cooking staples for your use. For your cleaning needs we keep paper towels, dish detergent, sponges, trash bags, kitchen towels, dish cloths and other basic cleaning supplies. For cooking outdoors there is a propane grill with utensils. 
 
A small table with chairs is placed in front of the picture window. For chilly days, enjoy the electric fireplace for heating or in the summer months you can turn it on for ambiance. Over the fireplace is a Smart television. Enjoy the DVD player with a selection of movies, old and new – complete with popcorn! An assortment of family games, books, puzzles are included also. Even rainy days are peaceful at the treehouse due to the natural lullaby of the rain on the tin roof.

Our bathroom has a sliding barn door on it. Inside is a flushing toilet, mirror and blow dryer. The shower has a rain showerhead from the ceiling and an electric hot water heater. Perfect for you and your partner should you desire!

In the front yard, guests can sip their morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs - sit back and take in the peaceful sights and sounds of nature. There are two hanging hammock chairs for your relaxation. It’s a great place for turkey and birdwatching, bring your binoculars. You can fire up the propane barbecue grill for a cookout. There is a private fire pit where you can toast s'mores, roast marshmallows or cook hot dogs as the sun sets - relaxing with a loved one, sipping cocktails and enjoying quiet conversation.

 

There is absolutely no smoking allowed inside the treehouse or on the deck. At times local fire restrictions ban smoking outdoors except in your vehicle. Please comply with these orders when we let you know they are in place. We have been through a forest fire 20 years ago and hope to never experience another one. Thank you for understanding.
