This treehouse is a true Labor of Love. I have wanted to build a treehouse for several years. In the meantime, Joel and I have been collecting things to build the treehouse. We have spent many years and hours digging around old houses and barns to find the perfect windows, doors, tin for the ceiling and bathroom and metal for the roof. The best part of all was that we bought a sawmill and milled our own lumber to build the treehouse from our land. In the kitchen you'll find live edge wood shelving and counter tops. The cabinets we built ourselves. The flooring is the best – I laid each board out so that the most beautiful pieces of each board show.

Waking up to the special sounds of nature, birds fluttering from tree to tree singing, deer and elk moving through the forest is where nature and luxury come together in tranquil harmony. The large plush queen size romantic canopy bed appointed with soft bedding and linens offers a great night's sleep. There is also a queen size inflatable mattress underneath the bed that can be used for additional guests. The treehouse will sleep four up to 4 people. We provide fresh sheets, blankets, pillows, towels and toilet paper.

We wanted everything to be comfortable and we want to make preparing for vacation as stress-free as possible by providing a turn-key rental with everyday amenities. Inside the kitchenette is a vintage style mini refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig style coffee maker that uses K cups. We provide a few k-cup pods to get you started. Please bring your favorite for the remainder of your stay. There are dishes on the shelves, serving bowls, utensils, silverware, knives, cutting board and pots and pans. We try to supply some of the basics you may need: sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, aluminum foil, plastic wrap and Ziploc bags. For your cleaning needs we keep paper towels, dish detergent, sponge, trash bags, kitchen towels, dish rags and other basic cleaning supplies.

A small table with chairs is placed in front of the picture window so you can enjoy the view while eating. We have installed an electric fireplace which can be used for heating or in the summer months you can just turn it on for the look of a fire. Over the fireplace is a Smart television. A DVD player is included with a large selection of movies for your enjoyment – complete with popcorn! An assortment of family games, books, puzzles are included also. Even rainy days are peaceful at the treehouse due to the natural lullaby of the rain on the tin roof.

Our bathroom is small with a sliding barn door on it. Inside is a flushing toilet, large mirror and blow dryer. The shower has a rain head from the ceiling and the on-demand water heater ensures endless hot water. Perfect for you and your partner should you desire!

In the front yard, guests can sip their morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs - sit back and take in the peaceful sights and sounds of nature or fire up the propane barbecue grill for a cookout before gathering around the picnic table for a meal together in the fresh air. There is a private fire pit where you can toast s'mores, roast marshmallows or cook hot dogs while chatting late into the night. There are two hanging hammock chairs for your relaxation. It’s a great place for turkey and birdwatching, bring your binoculars.
